The uzbek player is used to play ITF tournaments, her career is disappointing as she is currently ranked 560 after being 144 a few years ago. But what i'm sure about is that she is trying to come back and her performances are not shameful at all this year.

This year she defeated 3 huges players :

  • Rybakina currently 36
  • Zakharova, big talent from Russia
  • and yesterday Black Hurricane Tyra, a young talent from the USA: She was outsider and easily won that game even though she almost choked the second set (was leading 5-1 in second set but finally won it 7-6). She was clutch in that tie break. I dont like much the attitude of the american player who was desperately acting like Sloane Stephens on court (body language is awful) but her recent results in Thailand are great.

To be honest, i barely know Guo Meiqi but her resultats on hard court are far from being impressive. Lot of wins but she mainly play in china where any average player from other continents/countries can grab a lot of easy victories.

1,67 is not very good so i will bet only 1U on that bet but i think the uzbek has great chances to win. The tentation is too big no to take that bet.

I think the experience of Abduraimova should make the difference, i simply hope she will have motivation and i expect the chinese player to make a lot of unforced errors if nigina resists.
