Enhanced odds: Tottenham (50/1) - Man CIty (7/1)

Manchester City came into this season with the bar set high, and the aim on another Premier League-title. However, reality has been something completely different as the team from Manchester has been absolutely demolished by Liverpool. City find themselves 16 points behind the league leaders already, and it would take a miracle for anyone apart from Liverpool to lift the league trophy this year.

Despite being far behind, City has shown signs of greatness lately, winning 4 out of their last 5 games scoring loads of goals. In fact, they scored 16 goals in their last 5 games.

Tottenham has also had a rough year so far. After a couple of very slow opening months, the club fired head coach Mauricio Pochettino in order to replace him with "the one and only" Jose Mourinho. Mourinho had a few good games to open his campaign with spurs, but lately things changed and Mourinho's counter attacking football has not really been as succesful as the spurs fans might have hoped for.

Spurs main goal this season will for sure be to reach top 4 and qualify for the Champions League next year. While writing, Spurs is 6 points behind local rivals Chelsea, and Chelsea has the precious fourth position in the table as we speak.

Tottenham has not been great lately, and with only 2 wins out of last 5 games (all competitions) it is rather clear that things under Mourinho is yet not working perfectly well. In addition, Erikssen has just left for Inter, which obviously is a big loss for Spurs, even though Erikssen has not played much lately.

888sport has decided to create even more excitement around and already exciting match, as they have presented the following boost prior to the game:

  • Bet on Tottenham @ 50/1
  • Bet on Manchester City @ 7/1
