Interesting game in this evenings match between Ravens and Steelers. Before I go into details about the 2 bets I've chosen, lets drop a bit of knowledge.

What's at stake for these 2 teams?

  • Ravens has the opportunity to finish 14-2 in regular season. This will be their best regular season in franchise history! A win tonight would also make it the 12th straight victory, extending their longest winning streak in their history!
  • Ravens can also beat a 41 year old record. The boys from Baltimore needs 93 rushing yards, to set a new record for most rushing yards in a season. (this has a big impact on my bet)
  • Steelers are currently 8-7. They can still go playoffs BUT that requires not only a win in Baltimore tonight, but also Titans to lose their match tonight.

Injuries and Inactives

  • Ravens are missing their absolute bests. Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram II, Marshal Yanda, Earl Thomas III and Brandon Williams, Mark Andrews, Jimmy Smith and Marcus Peters will most likely not be playing much, if they play at all.

Now to the bets.

We start at Diontae Johnson. Over 44.5 Receiving yards. Ravens are most likely missing 2 of their Corner backs, which will open up for Diontae in the WR position. In the last 3 matches he has received for 81, 62 and 60 yards. I am actually quite tempted to throw more units at stake here, but I will stick to my 1.5u.

Gus Edwards over 15.5 rushing attempts. With both Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram II out for tonight match, Gus will be the primary rusher. With only 93 rushing yards Ravens can beat a big record, and I think they'll go for it. Steelers has the 2nd best rushing defence, so it wont be an easy task for Ravens, and therefore I expect them to have to try many times. Ravens already has the highest rushing attempts per game with an average of 36.8 attempts per game! Note many of these attempts are by QB Lamar, who wont play today.
