Formula 1 cars went to the Baku street track this Friday for the first practice sessions of the Azerbaijan GP. The main surprises were the lack of good performance of the Mercedes, especially with the 11th place of Lewis Hamilton, in addition to the Ferraris being well, in the third and fourth positions in the second free practice. Max Verstappen arrives in Baku as F1 leader for the first time in his career. Red Bull and he have already overcome greater adversities this year and in Azerbaijan they should confirm their favoritism, especially since the two Mercedes were not as usual. Victory: Max Verstappen
Ferrari drivers did very well on Friday, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc in 3rd and 4th positions respectively. The time is good, but both drivers adopt a more conservative speech regarding possible good results in the race.
