The cars of the biggest series in the world went to the track of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portugal, for the first two free practice sessions for the Portuguese GP. The Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton led the practice, but there were no major differences in time for Max Verstappen's Red Bull. Lewis Hamilton seeks the 100th pole position of his career and managed to be the fastest in the second free practice.
