Real Madrid will aim for a fourth consecutive victory when they travel to the Basque country to face Eibar on Sunday evening.

A 3-1 midweek win against Athletic Bilbao saw Los Blancos move level with Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid at the top of the table.

They beat Sevilla, Borussia Monchengladbach and Atletico Madrid in their three previous games, so they should be surging with confidence right now.

Eibar Enjoy Unbeaten Run

Eibar are also in terrific form for a club of their stature. They are unbeaten in five matches, which has seen them climb up to 11th in the standings after making a sluggish start to the season.

They have only scored nine goals in 13 games so far, but they have one of the best defensive records in La Liga.

Eibar have conceded a mere 10 goals so far, and only Atletico, Real Sociedad and Sevilla have been tighter at the back.

They have managed to keep six clean sheets, which is pretty impressive, and they have conceded just twice in their last five matches.

However, Eibar have the worst home record in La Liga. They are winless in seven games at Ipurua Municipal Stadium, and they have scored just one goal in that time.

Ramos Return Boosts Real Madrid

Real Madrid are starting to build up impressive momentum. Toni Kroos and Luka Modric look as composed as ever in the midfield, and the defence has improved tremendously since Sergio Ramos returned.

Karim Benzema cannot stop scoring, while the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio all look dangerous in wide areas.

Real Madrid are often involved in low-scoring games when playing on the road. Eibar’s home games so far this season have seen an average of just 0.86 goals, while there has not been a single Eibar match with more than two goals all season.

It is therefore pretty safe to assume that under 4.5 goals will pay off in this game, and Real Madrid really should win it.

Tip: Real Madrid to win and under 4.5 goals
