Offense in ruins

I watched Philadelphia's previous match and although the result was fairly close in the end (inside one score), the Eagles had no chances whatsoever. It's really painful to watch their offense at work this season and it was the main problem against the eagles as well. Offense seems completely out of sync. QB and receivers not on the same page. Receivers failing to beat their matchups and the accuracy of the ball is not there when they manage to do it.

Carson Wentz is getting a lot of criticism, but I don't think he's the only one to blame for this disaster. I mean, he is playing bad, there's no doubt about it. I don't know what happened with his ball that was much tighter and more accurate earlier in his NFL career. Currently, he's throwing ducks, missing wide open receivers and not finding the correct reads vs certain coverages. Doug Peterson said that he's giving up a portion of playcalling to his assistants going forward, but we'll see if that can jumpstart this offense. I doubt it.

Clicking

Sitting at 3-7-1 they are shockingly still in play for historically bad NFC East division, edition 2020. But, I don't think they can find a win in Wisconsin. Green Bay is simply too good at the moment. Playing really good football. Especially offensively, because Aaron Rodgers seems to be satisfied with the situation he's in for the first time in some time. After a rough start, it seems he clicked with Matt LeFleur and they are trusting each other now. Getting that out of the way, allowed them to take a step forward and get this team on a level where they are a serious NFC contender.

They won an important game at Chicago last week, but they might be without two important players this week. Za'Darius Smith did not participate in Friday's practice and is questionable, while Corey Linsley is definitely out at center position. It's a pretty important loss, especially in this offense, where Rodgers is calling a lot of audibles at the line of scrimmage and is trying to draw defenses offside with his cadance. Center makes sure that everybody is on the same page on that OL and there are no unnecessary penalties. Without Linsley, Rodgers might even dial down on those hard counts.

Packers vs Eagles betting tips

But one thing he's not dialing down on will probably be deep shots. Eagles managed to improve defending those since acquiring an elite corner like Darius Slay from Detroit in the offseason. But the problem is that he's dealing with some soft tissue injury and it's obviously affecting him, because he had one of the worst games of his career last week vs DK Metcalf. Whenever a CB can't move at 100%, he's a liability back there and the Packers have a bunch of receivers that are capable of turning that into their own favor.

Of course, there's Davante Adams, who can probably pile up catches against anybody in the league. But there's also Marquez Valdez-Scantling that can run by most of the defensive backs with his speed. And we have Allen Lazard, who was highly praised by Aaron Rodgers a couple days ago, for his professionalism and high football IQ. At these lines, MVS seems like the best choice. He's not a volume catcher that will see a lot of targets, but if he catches one, he's probably over this line, because he mostly catches deep passes.
