Portugal Grand Prix 2020 - after first day of free practice
F1 cars entered the track in Portimão for the first time, with the first two free practice sessions for the Portuguese GP. Again, as Motorsport.com warned, Valtteri Bottas was the fastest of the first session. After Friday's practices, some tips can be useful for those betting this weekend.
One of Friday's surprises was Charles Leclerc's Ferrari in fourth position in both free practice sessions, showing that the team has managed to make small evolutions, in addition to the change in focus of its rivals, who already think about the next season. Even though he already managed two podiums in 2020, you can’t bet on that, but the Monegasque driver can be around the podium. To finish in the Top-6: Charles Leclerc
A good sign that Ferrari has been evolving is also the good Friday for Sebastian Vettel. The German was 11th in free practice 1 and sixth in the second session. For the race, it's worth betting that the four-time champion will score some points. Top-10: Sebastian Vettel
Before the qualifying, there will be the third free practice session, with the drivers using the session to do qualifying simulations. Valtteri Bottas was the fastest at the Eifel GP two weeks ago and also led the third session at the Tuscan GP, when F1 also made a track debut. The Finn has a good chance to repeat this on Saturday. Fastest in Third Free Practice: Valtteri Bottas
