Runaway Norwegian league leaders Bodø/Glimt will bid to preserve their unbeaten record when they visit Molde on Saturday.

Kjetil Knutsen’s men have picked up 18 wins, two draws and zero defeats from 20 games so far this season. They are 18 points clear of their closest rivals, Rosenborg, at the top of the table, with Molde sitting in third place.

A Fearsome Attack

Bodø/Glimt have fired in an astonishing 69 goals during that time, at a rate of 3.45 per game. They concede around a goal per game too, but their fearsome attack means they regularly blow teams away.

Jens Petter Hauge (pictured playing for Norway this week) and Philip Zinckernagel have each scored 14 times, while Kasper Junker has chipped in with an additional 12 goals. Torgeir Børven is on nine, meaning that four of the 10 top scorers in the division play for Bodø/Glimt.

These teams last met in Bodø on July 27, and it finished 3-1 to the hosts. Ohi Omoijuanfo handed Molde an early lead, but Peter Berg soon equalised and then second-half goals from Junker and Hauge wrapped up the victory.

Appealing Odds on the Visitors

Molde are enjoying a reasonably strong season, but they cannot keep up with Bodø/Glimt. They lost three in a row before securing a 2-1 away win against struggling Brann before the international break. They now have 12 wins, a draw and seven defeats from 20 games, and their chances of winning the title have vanished.

Molde are the second highest scorers in the league, but their defence does not look strong enough to contain Bodø/Glimt for 90 minutes, so the visitors should be perfectly capable of getting a result in this game, and the odds on them are very attractive.
