Liquid to take down Swole Patrol

Liquid

Former #1 team Liquid looked great yesterday facing up vs MIBR, they covered the handicap easily on both maps winning 16-7 & 16-2. This to me shows that they don't have a big leak in online play which is what I was looking for in their opening game vs MIBR seeing as we very rarely see Liquid playing online anymore.

Liquid towards the end of last year looked very underwelming, I was anticipating a roster change coming in the new year however it seems like they have decided to stick together and work through problems.

Swole Patrol

Swole Patrol are one of the most hot and cold teams I think we've ever seen. On their day if individuals turn up I do believe we can see this team take down some great teams. However if individuals don't carry them through games they seem to really struggle.

Yesterday they played a very close game against the Australian roster 100 Thieves. They did have many promising moments in this match but once again it was only 1 individual turning up for them which was Cooper. His brother Freakzoid ended the series -20 kills and he always seems to be the deciding factor of this team losing or winning.

My Bet Reasoning

I simply don't see any player turning up for Swole Patrol vs such an individually aim stacked roster as Liquid who in my opinion have 2 of the best indivudal players in the game. I also expect Freakazoid to have a really rough game here.

Once again the same as yesterday we know Map 2 will be Team Liquids pick and they have a whole bunch of options they can take. I expect they've been working on changing their map pool up slightly coming into this year but I still expect them to just stick with Mirage here vs Swole Patrol. The last time they played this map Liquid 16-3.
