This Saturday will mark the 17th time the NHL has played 15 games on the same day. So a busy schedule and we will take a look at the match between the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers.

Bobrovsky not living up to his massive contract

The Florida Panthers thought that they would make an end to their goaltending issues when they signed Sergei Bobrovsky in July. The thing is that the two-time Vezina Trophy-winning goalie didn't live up to the expectations and his massive contract. He signed a seven-year, $70 million contract, but has only shown a .870 save percentage with a 3.90 goals-against average.

At the moment, Bobrovsky the Achilles' heel of the team 'cause offensive wise theFlorida Panthers are looking like a real treat and are one of the most surprising teams in the entire NHL. Florida scored 71 goals in their first 19 matches, an average of 3.73 goals per game. Alexander Barkov leads the Panthers in scoring with six goals and nineteen assists this season.

Embarrassed in Tampa Bay

The results of the New York Rangers in the last few weeks looked promising. There were wins against the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Nashville Predators for example and they won six of their last ten matches. Last Thursday they embarrassed themselves in an away match against the Tampa Bay Lightning. After nearly six minutes the Rangers were already 4-0 behind.

Pulling Alexander Georgiev didn't stop the bleeding, because the Rangers would lose 9-3 to the Lightning. Head coach David Quinn told the media they needed to forget this awful loss as fast as they can, because they have been playing good hockey lately. His team is young and inexperienced, but he knows that they've got to be better than this.

Expect goals

hese two teams met less than a week ago and Florida came away with a 6-5 victory in a shootout. Kaapo Kakko will be a game-time decision, his presence will give the offense of the Rangers a boost, but they can rely on guys like Artemi Panarin and Ryan Strome when he won't be fit enough. The Panthers can score in bunches, but their defense still looks shaky. I expect the Rangers to give more than a hundred percent after their embarrassing loss against the Lightning too, so a similar result as last week cannot be excluded.
