StarLadder Major 2019 Qualifier
Friday the 23rd of August 2019 marks a very important date in the CSGO Calendar as the biggest event of the year, The CSGO Major begins. Eyes from all over the E-Sport world will be drawn to the CSGO Scene as the worlds top teams perform for the chance to win a part of the 1 Million $ Prize pool.
Vitality
Team Vitality come into the Major in great form and are in most people’s eyes the second best team in the world. With one of , if not the best player in the world on there team with the young talent Mathieu “ZyWoo” Herbaut. Vitality have been here performing consistently for months now and there consistency has been paying dividends as they have been placed in each of there last 5 tournaments. They have also not played an official fixture for over a month in order to prep as well as possible for this major , so I expect them to come out all guns blazing as they are most definitely a team with a point to prove.
Syman Gaming
Syman are the No. 39 ranked team in the world and come into this game with a 1-4 record in there last 5 games against relatively poor competition, it is quite crazy that Syman have made it to such a prestigious event and it would be very bold to expect anything out of this team especially as they have been competing In other tournaments up until Tuesday this week which will have allowed them limited time to practice.
My Opinion & Reasoning
Vitality are 1/10 to win this match and even that is a generous price, Vitality have arguably the best player in the world and have been performing incredibly and coming off of a month straight of practice it would be ludacris to not believe they won’t easily destroy Syman who have only won one out of there last 5 games against teams ranked 46th in the world all The way up to the 170th ranked team in the world. The handicap on this game is Vitality -8.5 at evens however the bet I’ve attached is slightly better odds but acts as a handicap of -5.5 at 11/20 which I consider a lot better value than 8.5 at evens. This bet was placed at Betway E-Sports and is located under the Vitality v Syman specials category.
