ESL Pro League Qualifier
Today marks the conclusion of the ESL Pro League Qualifier with a face off between the Swedish outlet Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) and the french/Belgian mix of Heretics. The winner of this game will qualify for the ESL Pro League and the loser will be relegated to the Mountain Dew League (MDL) Making it a crucial match.
Heretics
Heretics are a mixed bag as they are very inconsistent and often very underwhelming , recently they have had quite a few bad results including a loss to team Vexed in which they were 1/6 with the bookmakers to take the win. This is a crucial game for the whole organisation as qualifying for the ESL Pro League would put them in-front of thousands of viewers every week and insure a huge cash injection into the organisation.
Ninjas In Pyjamas
NIP will be as confused as everyone else as to how they have ended up in this position as the 11th best team in the world (HLTV Rankings) it really is bewildering that they haven’t yet qualified for this prestige tournament. NIP have not been playing well recently as it seems as if they have been complacent against the lower opposition they have been facing. Coming into today NIP needed to go 2-0 in today’s games to secure there place at the pro League and they have got off to a flyer dispatching of the Russian outlet team Spirit 2-0 , with a great performance earlier NIP seem to be playing no games anymore. With all the drama surrounding not only this team but the organisation itself both the players and management will be keen to destroy heretics and silence the critics.
My Opinion & Reasoning
I suspect that NIP will destroy Heretics today and take them down 2-0, there is levels within counter strike and unfortunately Heretics aren’t on NIP’s level. Heretics aren’t great at the best of times so even if NIP aren’t at peak performance I still don’t see there being much of a challenge, although not the official tip , NIP to win 2-0 is available at Bet365 at 5/4 and is free money. I have only placed a tip on the second map in order to allow readers time to bet on my tip. The match begins at 14:30 and I play betting is available on all good bookmakers and map 2 will begin roughly around 15:45 Uk Time.
