Dual winner over this distance in 2019 – gelded over the winter and looked solid last time out when second at Haydock two-weeks ago. The ground was too soft for him and he was ran into trouble 1f out, with Frankie Dettori onboard today it’s highly unlikely that’ll be happening. Back to good-firm ground sealed the deal for me.

Claimed her only win to date on this track just 18 days ago then ran fairly well when second at Wolverhampton 5 days ago. Up 2lbs for this trip but shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The bump up in trip from 1m to 1m5f+ seems to have done her a world of good, even when beaten by over 7l at Wolverhampton she didn’t fade, gradually pulling away from third finishing over 9l clear. The return to turf should also be a bonus.

Two wins last year over this distance, albeit on heavy ground – he has ran well on firmer ground in the past. Yard is in good form recently – 9/1 price is far too high.

Three wins in last five starts, including a solid win at Kempton a little over 3-weeks ago. 3lb rise but shouldn’t do too much harm. A good competitive race to get the day underway, good claims.
Come On Girl @ 12/1 – 6:30 Lingfield
Ran well on firmer ground last year including a winner at Kempton in August. 8th out of 13 on heavy ground at Nottingham in last trip – can definitely be forgiven. Not the best draw but definitely something she can overcome
